3. Superhero 5K.

Dress like BATMAN! This great event is part of the Put on the Cape Signature Event Series. Dress as your favorite superhero or villain, Gotham City! Live Pep Band sprinkled throughout the course! Live DJ at Start/Finish Line. All runners get a t-shirt and finisher’s medal. Proceeds from this event support the Southwest Family Advocacy Center to help empower the victims of child abuse who are looking for treatment. So put on the Cape: A Foundation for Hope is the largest charity of its kind, using the superhero mythology to increase awareness and funds for Child Abuse and the centers that treat them. This is a super great cause and while in town try to attend. Remember you don’t have to run you can walk.
